Victoria West

The tuishuis in Vic West is now fully renovated and looking very cute. Vic West is a small Karoo town somewhere between Beaufort West and Kimberly and a good halfway stop between Joburg and Capetown. The house is within 100m of the bar, supermarket and bank. The Apollo Cinema is an old art deco place that now showcases South African movies. Vic West is very hot and very dry during summer.

Prince Albert

Between Christmas and New Year we spent time on a gorgeous Karoo farm near Prince Albert, with a big crowd of friends. The farm belongs to Sharon's family. The guys did some good motorbike trips and Neil is really enjoying his new BMW R1200 GS. Ann and I even did the Swartberg Pass in her car! We did all our cooking outdoors on the fire and really began to get back into the good old SA wines.

Zebula

We have been practicing our golf - but not nearly enough of course! We have not been able to spend as much time at Zebula yet as we would have liked to - just too busy!
