So this is the day we would have been packing up in preparation for the end of lockdown. But instead we face two more weeks. To be honest, I'm quite ok with being here. It's about the best lockdown spot anyone could ask for. Of course we're missing people and parties and travel..all of it...but it doesn't feel strange being away from family or friends for long chunks of the year at a time because that's what our life as expats and then traveling retirees has been like anyway.
