Lockdown Day 80 - Sunday 14 June

It's amazing how quickly the hours, days and weeks fly by during lockdown. I am  not, never have been, a goal-orientated person. I believe in having a plan rather than a goal. It changes the focus in life from the end- result to the journey. So not having lots of plans is strange but I like the freedom from it too. So we decided to have another Gin tasting because we could.
I think that the really good gin needs only tonic, ice and maybe a slice of lemon or so. If you are adding fruit, flavoured colourful tonics and lots of other bits, you might as well use a cheaper gin. Sunday's favourite was the Mirari from Time Anchor Distillery in Maboeng, Johannesburg.
