Yesterday's post was so extraordinary I won't even try to top it. There are some more photos from Kruger that I'll post today. We have seen a few Sharpe's Grysbok in Balule; they are shy and nocturnal but we had a good sighting of one in Kruger, possibly due to the overcast weather. They are the smallest buck in Kruger.
We also saw a very big herd of buffalo in the river bed.
On my very first trip to the Kruger Park in 1983 the first bird I learnt to identify was a Lilac Breasted Roller.
Neil decided to try a new cooking technique; finishing off a steak with a blow torch!
