Lockdown Day 97- Wednesday 1 July

All the days are running into each other now. This is the longest stretch we have spent in the same bed, in the same house since we got married. We have always done lots of weekends away and we used to max out our leave every year. Neil used to do an inordinate amount of business travel and since May 2008, we have been  on the road permanently. This afternoon we were due to be on a Swiss Air flight to Zurich for 4 months in Europe and the UK.  I honestly don't know how I feel about all this. Not angry. Not anxious. Just resigned, I guess. We drank a bottle Portuguese Vino Verde ( European plonk ) instead.
Our lockdown "bubble" includes Ronell and Johan, the lodge owners and we enjoy it when "sundowners on the deck" turns into " a braai and a kuier "with them.
