Freedom Day Weekend at Maizefield Farm

Friday 23 April to Tuesday 27 April
Lockdown Day 393 to 397
After months of living out of our car and more than 2 carloads of shopping and stuff that we had dumped at the cottage since Christmas, we faced a few days of serious cleaning, sorting, prepping and repacking for the next big trip. We celebrated Pam's birthday on Sunday, enjoying the company of a little bubble of friends for the long weekend. A little bit of freedom to celebrate Freedom Day.
The weather was balmy for late autumn with midday highs in the upper twenties. We even had an unseasonal thunderstorm on Friday night. And a beautiful showing of the full pink moon on Tuesday.
