Lockdown Day 102 - Monday 6 July

Today we went over to the Ximongwe Bush Camp. It's so peaceful and watching the little birds drink is a delight. Small birds are often overlooked but they're not all LBJs.
( Little Brown Jobs ) The pics are of the Blue Waxbill and the Green Backed Pytillia.
We went into Hoedspruit to shop and run errands. Gas bottle filled. Towbar adjusted. The grocery store was a bit crowded for my liking but hand sanitizing and masks are compulsory.
We bought 2 big T-bone steaks for an experiment in dry aging meat. One is  open on a rack in the fridge and one is in the freezer. We'll share the results in a few weeks time.
And in the local bottle store Neil found the Ardbeg Whisky- Corryvreckan- that won Best Scotch Single Malt in the world this year.
We had lunch and "peppermint tea" before heading home.
We're supposed to be sailing off the Greek Island of Corfu this week with the London Greenfields. We've postponed till 2021.I tracked down some pics of our last sailing trip in Greece with Charles and Leonie in 2003.
